The Gantseh Megillah is a journal of Yiddish culture and expression. Our purpose in publishing it online is to ensure its availability to the Jewish community and its friends located anywhere in the world. Members of our Megillah family write most of the material appearing in the Megillah and we encourage all of our subscribers to submit stories, anecdotes, recipes or anything else they feel relates to Yiddishkeit in their lives. It is our hope to develop a close-knit, online Shtetl where people can express and exchange ideas as well as to learn from each other's experiences.
