A wonderful book that will make you cry and smile at the same time. It's the true story of the author's parents who were German-Jewish musicians. They were forced to work in one of Nazi Germany's Judische Kulturbunds. But through it all their love for music and each other was a tremendous bond. There's a lot of historic and musical detail here, but the warm, touching, emotional story made it all the more compelling to read.
