Are Yentas, Kibitzers, & Tummlers Weapons of Mass Instruction?

It will come of no surprise to the members of our Megillah family that I thoroughly enjoyed Marge’s new book. Marjorie Gottlieb Wolfe has graced the online pages of the monthly Gantseh Megillah with her wit, wisdom and sense of haimish Yiddishkeit almost from the very beginning. Many Megillah readers tell me that even on the bleakest of days; Marge’s column can bring a smile to their face and a glow to their hearts.

Are Yenta’s Kibitzers, & Tummlers Weapons of Mass Instruction is not heavy reading or deeply philosophical. It is simply a collection of expressions, ideas, thoughts and observations organized in a lighthearted and meaningful way.

We are all too familiar with the term Weapons of Mass Destruction and WMD have relentlessly haunted our consciousness for the past couple of years. With her inimitable humour and folksy style, Marge has blown apart the negative connotation to the word weapons and transformed it into a verbal jab with wit and colour. She has proven beyond any doubt that there are weapons that can be used in a good way and for the betterment of humankind.

If you’ve enjoyed reading Marge’s column, Wolfe Whispers in the Gantseh Megillah month after month, you owe it to yourself to acquire a copy of “Are Yentas, Kibitzers, & Tummlers Weapons of Mass Instruction?” I also encourage the proliferation of this weapon by suggesting you order a copy of this book for your friends and neighbours. This is one weapon that should be spread around the world.

For information on how to order click on the picture of the book.
