The Yiddish American Digital Archive

R A Friedman and I have been corresponding for more than a year about his wonderful Web site of Yiddish music. I was very excited about alerting our Megillah family, of which he is a member, about his site, but he requested I wait until he felt it was ready for an official unveiling. I am happy to say, that day has arrived.

The Yiddish American Digital Archive represents an enormous investment of time and a deep love of the subject matter. Mr. Friedman has designed and developed this amazing site for the enjoyment of anyone who shares his love of Jewish music and his concern for the preservation of its heritage. I highly suggest you pay a visit to this site just once, and I am sure you will return, as I have, again and again.

The link to the Yiddish American Digital Archive is http://yiddishsong.org/html/yiddishsong_org.html

I want to thank Mr. Friedman for making his growing collection available on the World Wide Web. There is nothing else like it available in cyberspace.
