     Evelyn Levin's November Column
Hi Evelyn: I want to challenge you to think about your global warming article. You reference an "act of God" in your article, then mention "1 million years ago" -- I want you to think about the fact that as a Jew, you're contradicting yourself if any of the Talmudical teachings hold any weight with you, in the light of the scientific "evidence?" that you so strongly propound. Al
Editor-> Dear Al, Thank you for your comments, but I don't believe that this article is about the Talmud and its teachings. My focus is on how all people have taken the land and the seas and the trees and all things that grow - given to us by a Supreme Being - and abused and neglected them. I lay no claims to being a Talmudic scholar, I am merely a grateful human being, at times in despair at the state of our world. Sincerely, Evelyn Levin
