Editor-> Dear Chasya, I'm sorry if the Purim story upset you in some way. I was certainly not trying to profess a "sexual preference is my banner" attitude; I just thought it was a cute and entertaining story. I don't quite understand the accusation of narcissism as disrespecting the Jewish community. The very existence of publications such as The Gantseh Megillah shows enormous pride and respect for our community. I do my best to select stories from the world over that includes references to all different kinds of people and groups, and their outlook towards being Jewish. I certainly hope you enjoyed the rest of the stories this week, and that you will continue to comment when the spirit moves you. I am always delighted and honoured to hear from members of my Megillah family.
