Editor-> Dear Rachel, Thank you for your thoughts concerning my love of Montreal. Where one lives is a very personal decision. Many Jews, such as you, prefer to live in the biblical homeland, and that is absolutely wonderful, if that is what you wish to do. However, as a Jew, among many, although I love Israel, I do not choose to spend my life there. I do not believe that makes me less Jewish, or someone who does not care about the biblical homeland. It is simply a personal decision of where I prefer to live for any number of reasons. I am delighted you are happy and serene in your home in Eretz Yisroel.
