	An Interested Gentile
Hi Michael, Here's a note from an interested gentile, and I enjoyed your editorial this month. Torture is something no one should condone let alone have to endure. I find it very surprising that some of your readers would condone America's use of torture, when disturbing images of it at the Abu Graib (sp?) prison in Iraq were made public a few years ago. The world community's disgust and outrage with American policies in dealing with it's detainees was loud and clear, it's unacceptable practice. Best wishes, Alex
