If you would know the treasure offered here,

Then rest upon the emerald carpet.

The hopeful little lady violet,

Waits patiently for lovers to come near.

To hurried wanderers, she is a mere

Bit of color near the ground. Her velvet

Complexion and scent, are the sweet secret

She keeps, for one who will hold her dear.

To G-d's every quiet woodland creature,

Her soft perfume speaks of gentle hours,

Spent dreaming under lacy clouds above,

This blessed spot. Every tiny feature,

Promises the kindliest of bowers.

For you to rest and share a Springtime love
