Yiddish Word of the Day

Yiddish word of the day web site.

The goal of this site is to provide free and easy access to fun and colorful Yiddish expressions.
Are you a Shlemiel, Shlimazel, or a Mentsh? Do your in-laws drive you Meshugeneh? Do you wish you had the Chutzpeh to stand up to them?

Sorry, I can't help you. But if you have no idea what I am talking about or you want to learn some more Yiddish then check out the Yiddish word of the day mailing list.

A new expression is posted daily, Monday through Friday. You can have the daily expression mailed to you or you can see it on the Internet. Click here to see today's Yiddish expression or sign up for the mailing list or go to http://www.brownhound.org/Ywotd.html
