A New Synagogue in Banning, CA

The San Gorgonio Pass area welcomes a new synagogue ---- Congregation Shalom Bayit. They meet the 3rd Friday of the month to celebrate the Sabbath in Banning, CA. We are currently holding services in a local Lutheran Church. Our new center for worship is a trans-denominational synagogue. We welcome all who wish to pray with us. The congregation offers a broad interpretation of Judaism and a creative approach to prayer. The intent is to include all individuals, their families and their friends who desire to experience Jewish worship, no matter what their previous affiliation. The rabbi conducts a creative, educational, and inspirational service.

The purpose is to promote the enduring and fundamental principals of Judaism and to ensure the longevity of our traditions. This offers a means to develop a spiritual relationship with the almighty through communal worship, study, and assembly. By applying the principals of Judaism to the values and conduct of the individual, the family and to our society as a whole, we believe we are contributing to the welfare of our planet.

Banning is located in a San Bernardino Mountain pass. We are about 30 minutes east of San Bernardino & Redlands, and we are approximately the same distance from Palm Springs and Palm Desert.
